For my age group - CDC says .66 grams of protein per kilogram of weight per day. The CDC also says that my ideal weight is 144-194 pounds based on height and BMI (i have no idea who this 6'2" person is that weighs 144 pounds!)
As much as the number sounds great, I think 165 pounds might be an impossible goal since the last time I weighed that much was before high school. 175 pounds doesn't seem unreasonable though. So 175 pounds is 79.38 kilograms, which means my ideal protein intake is about 52 grams per day.
And here is a fun chart of various veggies, legumes, and grain that contain protein.

FUN FACT, the sandwich bread recipe I use would contain somewhere around 40 grams of protein in the entire loaf.

If you want to ruin your night
unless of course you hate children, in that case this might entertain you? You're sick if that's so.
